One in a series of Historical American Landmarks and/or places, that I have visited. This is the Washington Monument viewed from the Jefferson Memorial in Washing D.C, United States. You can see the White House peeking out from the trees, second building to the left of the monument. The perspective was so interesting. The pillars frame the painting, yet are part of the painting. And the Washington Monument is the "star", the focus.
