Description
This started off as a demonstration for a fundraiser. I didn't particularly like it and it sat in my studio for a year. I decided to work on it a little bit and transformed the painting into something I enjoy. It's not exactly a real place, but in my head while painting it I was thinking of the fall colors at Lake Tahoe from a few years ago. These trees are sort of a cross between birch (trunks) and aspens (leaves).
