Artist's Description
The inspiration for this painting was Promontory Utah, where the transcontinental railroad eastern and western tracks met. I like how you can't tell which direction the tracks are going. So no matter what, you're going in the "right" direction. It is possible you're standing at the back of the train and looking at where you've been. It should make you think. These particular tracks, where I got my inspiration, is going east/west. But I'll leave it up to the viewer.

About Laurie Morgan
LAURIE MORGAN - Commissions Welcomed “Painting became a true love after years in the entertainment field. I get a thrill rendering on canvas the sights I see in my travels around the world. I’m intrigued by historical architecture and most of my work contains part of a house, castle, cottage, cabin, barn or other structure. Many of my paintings have windows or doors, arches and pathways. These mean to me ‘adventure, surprise and levels of spirituality’. I’m fascinated by man’s use of natural substances such as, stone, brick, wood and often add these to my work as well. Equally I love flowers and gardens and try to include them wherever I can; often inspired by my own garden.” Laurie’s art has been exhibited at The Gallery...
