After all the rains we had in Southern California in the winter of 2016 and spring of 2017, hundreds of wildflowers appeared. They're always dormant under the surface, but the rains brought them out. Culling from many photos I took, I put together this small 4" x 4" painting. I have ideas for several future renditions in other mediums: pastel, watercolor, etc.
