Some of the wildlife and exotic animals in the Virgin Islands, included these Lories. Their plumage was so colorful, they were barely camouflaged. I was lucky to get this picture with them in a great pose. It makes for a perfect composition. Initially, I was going to make it a watercolor, but instead opted for the bolder pastels. And no, I am not named for these birds! Lol
