Artist's Description

In our 13th century apartment in Campo de' Fiori Piazza, Rome, Italy, we made espresso every morning. In the Piazza from 7 am - 3 pm was an open air market. In the afternoon we would buy fresh fruit, cheeses and bread for the next morning's breakfast. And each day accompanied by delicious fresh espresso. The dual hot plate and the little espresso machine was all we needed. What a glorious time we had!

About Laurie Morgan

Laurie Morgan

LAURIE MORGAN - Commissions Welcomed “Painting became a true love after years in the entertainment field. I get a thrill rendering on canvas the sights I see in my travels around the world. I’m intrigued by historical architecture and most of my work contains part of a house, castle, cottage, cabin, barn or other structure. Many of my paintings have windows or doors, arches and pathways. These mean to me ‘adventure, surprise and levels of spirituality’. I’m fascinated by man’s use of natural substances such as, stone, brick, wood and often add these to my work as well. Equally I love flowers and gardens and try to include them wherever I can; often inspired by my own garden.” Laurie’s art has been exhibited at The Gallery...
