Walking around the Roman aqueduct ruins in Italy was amazing. I was also impressed with the Umbrella Pine Trees in the area (and all over Rome!). Looking at the area, I wanted to pick the best possible composition for a painting. I think I picked a good one. The arches, road and vertical line of trees draw ones eye all around. I particular like the combination of rusts and teals together too. This is watercolor on yupo paper.
